Cloak AI and MY AI are designed from the ground up to operate 100% on your local device. Your conversations, prompts, photos, and documents are processed locally using your device's hardware and are NEVER transmitted to cloud servers.
1. Overview & Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the Cloak AI mobile application for iOS and the MY AI web application (gomyai.uk), developed by Ali Ahmed ("we", "us", or "our"). We respect your fundamental right to data privacy and sovereignty. This document outlines how our applications operate with zero personal data collection.
2. On-Device AI Processing & Local Storage
Both Cloak AI for iOS and MY AI for Web execute artificial intelligence models (including Large Language Models, Vision-Language Models, and CoreML / WebGPU Diffusion Models) directly on your device using hardware acceleration (Apple Neural Engine, Metal GPU, WebGPU, and WebAssembly).
- Chat History & Prompts: Stored strictly in your local device database (SwiftData on iOS, IndexedDB/RAM on Web) and never uploaded to any remote server.
- Photos & Media: Images selected for vision analysis or generated locally are processed entirely within device memory and local storage.
- Model Weights Storage: Downloaded AI model weights reside in your device's local Documents or browser cache directory. You can wipe all local models and chat history at any time via Settings.
3. Data Collection, Analytics & Advertising
We do NOT collect, store, or sell any Personally Identifiable Information (PII), prompts, or generated outputs.
Mobile Diagnostics (Cloak AI iOS): To monitor app stability, anonymous telemetry services (Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics) collect diagnostic stack traces upon unexpected crashes and basic non-identifiable screen counts. Analytics services have ZERO access to chat content, prompts, or generated media.
Web Advertising (MY AI gomyai.uk): The web application partners with Google AdSense to serve non-intrusive advertisements. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on prior visits. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
4. Network Connectivity & Model Downloads
Cloak AI and MY AI function completely offline for all core inference tasks. Network access is strictly limited to:
- Downloading open-weights AI model files directly from public CDN repositories (such as Hugging Face) upon explicit user request in the Model Library.
- Loading essential web assets and third-party advertising scripts on the web domain (gomyai.uk).
5. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR)
Cloak AI and MY AI do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under 13 (or 16 in specific jurisdictions). Because no personal data is harvested or transmitted, our tools comply fully with COPPA and GDPR regulations.
6. Security & Data Retention
Because all application data resides on your local hardware, data security relies on your operating system's built-in protections (Passcode, Face ID, Touch ID). You have complete authority over data retention and can delete all local data instantly by selecting "Clear Internal Storage" inside Settings or deleting the app.
